The UK has published a 19-page command paper in response to a UK Health and Social Care Committee report that examined the regulatory arrangements needed to guarantee safe and effective supply of medicines, medical devices and products after Brexit. “The UK wants to explore with the EU the terms on which we could remain part of EU agencies, including the EMA. The Govern- ment recognizes the importance of a close and cooperative relationship between the UK and EU in the field of medicines, medical devices and substances of human origin regulation,” the paper states.
